The short version

House of Units doesn't have user accounts, doesn't ask you to sign up for anything, and doesn't run any forms that collect personal information. There's very little data to talk about here — but the sections below cover it honestly, including the technical services involved in simply serving the site to your browser, and how advertising (where shown) uses cookies.

Hosting and technical data

This site is served by Cloudflare, a content delivery and hosting provider. Like any web host, Cloudflare necessarily processes standard technical information to deliver pages to your browser — your IP address, browser type, and request timing, typically retained briefly in server logs for security and performance purposes. This is a normal part of how the web works, not something specific to this site, and House of Units itself doesn't separately access or store this information.

This site's typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. Loading a font this way means your browser makes a direct request to Google's font-serving infrastructure, which involves your IP address being visible to Google in the same way it would be for any request to a Google-hosted resource.

Analytics

This site may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand overall traffic patterns — how many people visit, which pages are popular, and general performance metrics. This particular analytics service is built to work without cookies and without tracking individuals across sites, and doesn't collect personal information beyond aggregated, anonymized usage patterns.

Advertising and cookies

This site participates in Google AdSense to display advertising. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this site or other sites on the internet.
